Matched text is shown like this in the detailed search result view.
There is no distinction between upper and lower case letters.
You can search through a search result by entering a search term and selecting the button "Search within results" on the result page. That way it is possible to search for different terms in different fields.
You can enter more than one search term into the search entry field. These terms are logically ANDed, that is all terms must match the searched field(s).
To search for phrases (i. e. subsequent words, only separated by spaces) you have to enter the phrase between double quotes (").
Searches cover the entire text of the searched field(s). They do not care about word boundaries.
You can use the logical operators AND, OR and NOT to combine and parentheses to group search terms. Logical operators must be all upper case.
You can use the asterisk ("*") or the question mark ("?") to match any sequence of characters or any single character, respectively.
Searching "--all--" means to search in all fields. If any field matches the search term the corresponding institution gets included in the search result.
